Professional freeskier Kina Pickett has joined the Wink Inc Production team as the “Director of Operations and Production.”

Kina Pickett grew up ski racing in Vermont before attending “Bates College.” Graduating with a Fine Arts Degree in 1997, he moved to Jackson Hole, Wyoming. Kina started skiing at the age of one and ski raced through high school and college. He began his professional ski career in 1998 and has appeared in 18 major ski movies. Kina is also an avid climber; he has skied and climbed around Russia, Bulgaria, Turkey, France, and Switzerland as well as in New Zealand, Morocco and all over the US and Canada.

“I have been around production for more than eight years, so it is logical to continue forward and stay in the same arena,” said Kina. “Jason and I have known each other for years, this relationship makes perfect sense.”

“Kina has an amazing grasp on all areas of production, having seen the industry from both sides of the lens,” added Jason Winkler of Wink Inc. “His unique skill set will be a huge asset to us as we continue to grow and will help keep us on the cutting edge of outdoor High Definition production.”
